Section 01

Description of the Service

Vigilante is an informational browser extension designed to assist users in comparing products, locating alternative sellers, identifying potential suppliers, displaying pricing information, and providing links to third-party marketplaces and retailers.

The Service uses automated systems, algorithms, publicly available information, third-party APIs, affiliate programs, and other technologies to generate recommendations.

The Service is intended solely as an informational tool and should not be considered purchasing advice, financial advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of product authenticity or quality.

Section 02

Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

Section 03

Affiliate Disclosure

Some recommendations presented by Vigilante may contain affiliate or referral links. If you choose to purchase products through these links, VigilanteDrop may receive a commission, referral payment, or other compensation from participating retailers or affiliate networks.

These commissions do not increase the purchase price paid by you.

Our participation in affiliate programs does not constitute an endorsement of any retailer, nor does it guarantee product quality, seller reliability, or customer satisfaction.

Section 04

Independent Platform

VigilanteDrop is an independent software provider.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, VigilanteDrop is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially partnered with any retailer, supplier, manufacturer, marketplace, or brand displayed within the Service.

Any trademarks, logos, brand names, and product names belong solely to their respective owners.

Section 05

Product Information

Information presented by the Service — including but not limited to prices, product images, product descriptions, shipping estimates, seller ratings, availability, product similarity, and match confidence — is generated using automated methods and third-party sources.

Because this information originates from external sources and may change without notice, VigilanteDrop makes no guarantee regarding its accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, authenticity, compatibility, timeliness, or correctness.

Product recommendations should always be independently verified before making a purchase.

Section 06

User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that all decisions made while using the Service are made entirely at your own discretion and risk.

You are solely responsible for verifying:

  • product specifications;
  • seller identity;
  • pricing;
  • taxes;
  • customs duties;
  • shipping costs;
  • delivery estimates;
  • warranties;
  • return policies;
  • compatibility;
  • authenticity; and
  • any other information relevant to your purchase.

The Company does not make purchasing decisions on your behalf. The Company does not sell products. The Company does not process payments. The Company does not manufacture, inspect, verify, warehouse, or ship products.

The Company is not responsible for any transaction conducted between you and a third-party seller.

Section 07

Third-Party Websites

The Service may direct you to third-party websites. Those websites operate independently from VigilanteDrop.

The Company has no control over their products, services, pricing, policies, security, privacy practices, availability, or business operations.

Your interactions with any third party are solely between you and that third party.

Section 08

Browser Permissions

The browser extension requires certain permissions to provide its functionality. These are limited to browser storage, network access to our own API, and access to the content of web pages you visit.

Page access operates automatically as pages load, so that the extension can determine whether a given page is a product or checkout page. Pages that are not supported shopping pages are not processed further.

A full description of what the extension reads and what it transmits is set out in our Privacy Policy. Permissions are requested solely for providing the intended functionality of the Service.

Section 09

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the Service;
  • interfere with its operation;
  • attempt unauthorized access to Company systems;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where permitted by law;
  • distribute malicious software through the Service; or
  • use the Service for unlawful purposes.
Section 10

Intellectual Property

The Service — including but not limited to its software, algorithms, databases, source code, visual design, logos, branding, documentation, graphics, models, recommendation systems, and proprietary technology — is owned by VigilanteDrop or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No ownership rights are transferred to users through use of the Service.
